the effects of over consuming

  • Slow Processed learning
  • Poor Decision making
  • Stress
  • Bad Judgement
  • Change in attitude or behavior

As many consume substances and or drugs consistently, the effects vary. Some include bad memory, poor decision making, stress, bad judgement, change in attitude or behavior, etc. Since the brain wasn’t designed to experience chemical changes, it becomes difficult for it to adapt. As drugs of any kind enter our system, the brain reacts to the intake. Some of these reactions are common for people who do not consume.

  • Slow processed learning and poor decision making occur due to the effects of the chemical on the brain. The brain regions that receive impact are the thalamus and endometrial prefrontal cortex in which are used for decision making.

  • Bad Judgement is a common issue for humans as a whole, but for drug abusers it can be worse. The chemicals consumed cause the brain to react in a way making the recipent become confused.
  • Stress can come in many ways due to circumstances and predicaments. For a drug abuser, stress can be easily triggered. Even in instances where the faced problem doesn’t require high levels of stress.
  • Change in attitude or behavior are normal as people mature and grow older. For a drug abuser, a change in attitude can become difficult to deal with as they tend to have less patience.

Introduction & Influence

People can become introduced to drugs through many circumstances. In order for something to be known, it has to be shown. People who observe their surroundings and pay attention to detail may be interested in trying something different. Things that may be foreign to the eye makes it unique to the individual that hasn’t experienced what it has to offer. Being exposed to something makes it easier to get hold of it.

As many people grow up in households with smokers, they’re likely to become one. Along with household influence, social media platforms promote drug usage. As many people have these app engines, they feel free to post whatever they do. As young children and teenagers watch, they will watch someone do something and follow right after them. Due to the“trend setters” of this generation, viewers will be motivated to follow the “trend”.

The Generational Impact & Influence

The younger generations referring to Gen-Alpha and Millennial’s are prone to exposure. As these generations expand and grow older, they may experience feelings of curiosity, peer pressure, a sense of finding identity, and moving along with today’s culture and society. With a phone at hand and easy access to social media’s, it is common to come across profile pages that promote the usage of harmful drugs. Once said harmful drugs are consumed and consistently taken, it is difficult to depart.

  • Culture and Society
  • Social media
  • Peer pressure
  • Curiosity
  • Finding themselves.

  • Culture and Society play a major role with the generational impact and influence as this generation is well known for imitating events that happen on the media.
  • Social Media is well known and used by the younger generations to stay continuously updated on current events. Along with this, the younger generation may feel obligated to imitate what they see in order to “fit in” at school.
  • Peer Pressure is an unfortunate thing as many young children feel the need to follow the crowd and do things they don’t do normally. Along with this, there may be “friends” that push them to follow what they do, even if their actions are harmful.
  • Curiosity is something that we all experience, It isn’t easy to not get intrigued by something we haven’t seen before. When you’re young and curious , it is easy to get out of your comfort zone and test the waters.
  • Finding ourselves is a process with endless possibilities. As we explore our options, we will come across things that we may or may not like. Even though a lot of the things we may find interesting may not be the best, we will have to bump our heads in order to figure it out.

Seeking Help

Converting from drugs could be difficult for drugs users. But, It is important to understand that reaching out would be beneficial. Getting in the habit of doing something and becoming comfortable with it, it’s not easy letting go. Some ways that drug users can seek help are seeking therapy, sending prayers, confiding in the telemarketers of that department, self encouragement, etc.

Communicating with a therapist will allow the brain to help release the urge and thoughts of consuming drugs. Prayer is also an effective way for releasing desire. Confiding in the telemarketers will be beneficial for people who cannot afford therapy. They would not only have the ability to communicate with a professional but if they’re not sociable, they can communicate at the comfort of their own home. Self encouragement is one of the best traits to have generally as self love and positive talk is the best way to get out of a tough situation.
